Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 250 grams of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup of beef broth
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A pinch of paprika
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef: Season the beef strips with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and sauté until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic, cooking until they are soft and translucent. Add the mushrooms and continue to cook until the mushrooms are tender.
  4. Make the Sauce: Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir to coat. Gradually add the beef broth, stirring continuously until the sauce begins to thicken.
  5. Combine and Simmer: Return the beef to the skillet. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream. Simmer gently for about 5 minutes, or until the beef is heated through and the sauce is creamy. Be careful not to let it boil, as the sour cream can curdle.
