Ingredients:
8 oz elbow macaroni
2 cups broccoli, cut into small florets
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
1 cup half and half milk
1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Salt to taste

Directions:
Heat a heavy bottom pan and cook the macaroni in salted boiling water according to the package instructions (a little less than al dente). Drain and set aside.
Steam the broccoli florets in a separate pan for 5 minutes, then set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and stir in the flour. Cook for one minute.
On a medium-low flame, gradually add whole milk and half-and-half, whisking continuously to avoid lumps. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
Stir in mustard powder, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and salt.
Add grated cheddar cheese to the sauce and stir until melted. Combine with the cooked pasta and broccoli, ensuring an even coat of the sauce.
