Ingredients:

  • 300g Spaghetti
  • 1 Sweet Red Pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 heaping tablespoon Flour
  • 250 ml Chicken Broth
  • 125 ml Cream
  • 40g Butter
  • 100g Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 100g Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Melt the butter in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft and translucent.
  3. Add the garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant.
  4. Sprinkle the flour over the onion and garlic, stirring well to combine. Cook for a couple of minutes.
  5. Gradually pour in the chicken broth, stirring continuously until the mixture starts to thicken.
  6. Add the cream to the pan, bringing the sauce to a boil again while stirring. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smoothly combined with the sauce.
  8. Boil water in a separate pot, add salt, and cook the spaghetti until al dente. Drain the pasta and add it to the cheese sauce, mixing well.
