Ingredients:
1/2 large cauliflower head, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 eggs
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup flour
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder, a sprinkle
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp minced garlic (or fresh chopped)
1/2 cup Trader Joe’s General Tso’s sauce
1 1/4 cups water + 2 tbsp for slurry
2 tsp cornstarch
2 1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar (optional)
2 1/2 tsp sriracha sauce (optional)
1 tbsp chopped scallions/spring onions, for garnishing
Sesame seeds, a sprinkle, for garnishing

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking tray with foil.
In three separate bowls, place flour seasoned with salt and pepper, breadcrumbs, and whisked eggs respectively.
Coat each cauliflower piece in flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs, and place on the prepared tray.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy.
Heat sesame oil in a pan, sauté garlic for 10-15 seconds, then add General Tso’s sauce and water.
Simmer, then add optional sriracha and vinegar to balance sweetness. Thicken with a cornstarch slurry and simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
Toss baked cauliflower in the sauce, garnish with scallions and sesame seeds, and serve.
