1 cup lentils, rinsed
1 cup medium grain rice, rinsed
1 cup macaroni pasta
2 large onions, thinly sliced
1 cup tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetable oil for frying
1/4 cup chickpeas, cooked
2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 tablespoons crispy fried onions for garnish
Directions:
Cook lentils in boiling water until tender, about 20-25 minutes, then drain.
Cook rice according to package instructions.
Boil macaroni until al dente, drain.
