For the Dough:


  • 70 ml warm water
  • 70 ml warm milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 320g flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Garlic Butter:

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 60g butter, melted
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Additional Ingredients:

  • Mozzarella cheese, sliced or shredded
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • Poppy seeds (optional)


  1. Activate Yeast: Mix warm water, milk, dry yeast, and sugar in a bowl. Wait 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Prepare Dough: Combine yeast mixture, egg, and melted butter in a large bowl. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing to form a dough.
