4 filet mignon steaks (each about 6 oz and 1.5 inches thick)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup finely chopped shallots
1 tablespoon cracked black peppercorns
1/2 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream

Directions:
Prepare the Filet Mignon:
